Future Green Studio

102nd Street Residence

Varied textures, plantings, and outdoor living elements enliven this Upper West Side limestone garden.

A stone feature wall and mirror-backed lattice fence create new vertical textures. Each fence panel is interspersed with climbing vines as well as gold leaf honeysuckle and climbing hydrangea. Other plants in the garden include shade tolerant Japanese forest grass, white flowering astilbe, and flowering perennials.

The custom, stainless steel outdoor kitchen was realized with a bluestone countertop in addition to a built-in refrigerator, grill, cabinets, and garbage receptacle.
